We are well equipped for a wide range of metalwork and woodwork activities. Donations of sawn timber and metal stock are always appreciated.
You can bring your own tools and materials to engage in any craft and we intend to have pottery and lead lighting equipment available for general use.
We currently have a training programme aimed at learning about alternative PC operating systems and using free software to drive 3D printers. For those wishing to use power tools or equipment appropriate training will be provided.
We have computers, scanners and printers (including 3D printers) available, with internet access planned, and we will be able to help you with whatever you need to do.
It is intended to develop a library of reading and reference publications - books and magazines. Any donations will be gratefully received.
We participate in local shows and events. Social activities are arranged for members and families.
There is ample space around the shed, with raised beds, to allow the development of garden plantings and vegetable plots.
Many men, especially those living alone, would be healthier and happier with some more imaginative cookery skills (currently in planning stage only).
Knitting, weaving, dyeing and other fibre based activities can be productive hobbies as well as being mentally stimulating (currently in planning).
